Asking Questions Is Critical to Pharmacists' Job

Letter to the Editor - I read Jeffrey Lowe's opinion column, "Bill Allowing Pharmacist Approval for Morning-After Crosses a Legal Line" (July 5 Daily Journal), and was disappointed by Mr. Lowe's lack of understanding regarding the important role pharmacists play in the overall health care team. Their role isn't simply to "dispense medication." That's like saying a lawyer's job is to simply file paperwork at the courthouse.
