Nanci E. Nishimura, a Burlingame-based partner with Cotchett, Pitre & McCarthy LLP, discussed with the Daily Journal some improvements she thinks would help regulate judges who misbehave. Nishimura, who is also a commissioner with the state Commission on Judicial Performance, said California courts need to join modern times by allowing electronic recording in their courtrooms.
