Judge pulls the plug on Ticketmaster class action settlement

Lawyers on both sides of a long-running class action between Ticketmaster and aggrieved consumers must go back to the drawing board after a Los Angeles-based state court judge rejected a settlement as insufficiently benefiting the class.

LOS ANGELES - For the second time, a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge rejected a settlement between Ticketmaster Entertainment Inc. and about 50 million of its customers in a fight over two fees the ticketing giant charged.
