Christopher Feted in Washington Gathering

WASHINGTON - On a day when the horror in Kosovo - and the corresponding U.S. involvement there - appeared to be escalating by the hour, President Clinton and Secretary of State Madeleine Albright took a respite from grim duty to join a host of other top officials and power brokers in honoring the man who brokered peace in Bosnia: former Secretary of State and O'Melveny & Myers partner Warren Christopher, whose official portrait was unveiled Tuesday at the State Department.
