Opening arguments were heard Wednesday in a class action lending-discrimination case against Wells Fargo Bank, laying the groundwork for a narrowly focused trial featuring big-name lawyers. The arguments hinged largely on the role of internal bank software in pricing home mortgages at 16 branches in Los Angeles County.
