Homeowners May Get Chance to Sue Bank

In a move that bucks the trend, a federal judge in Los Angeles gave signs Monday he would light a path for homeowners to sue banks that accepted TARP funds but refused to make home loan modifications.

LOS ANGELES - In a move that bucks the trend in foreclosure litigation, a federal judge in Los Angeles gave signs Monday that homeowners may be able to sue banks that refuse to modify home loans as required under the U.S. Treasury Department's Troubled Asset Relief Program.
