Beverly Hills Law Building Honors Longest Tenant

Yesterday afternoon, Burt Jacobson was honored at a luncheon for his 50-year tenure at the Beverly Hills Law Building. He is currently dean of the building, and has had his law offices there since it was a new addition to the neighborhood. His secretary of 20 years, Jennifer Knapp, describes practicing in the building as a "wonderful comraderie" to which Jacobson is essential. Designed in 1945 by Rowland Henry Crawford, who also constructed the Los Angeles Times Mirror building and the Brentwood Country Mart, the Beverly Hills Law office is listed as a "building of distinction" in the Thomas Guide. Currently, 17 attorneys practice there.
