At the recently completed trial challenging the U.S. military's "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy, the plaintiff introduced into evidence a "Tweet" from Admiral Michael Mullen, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Yes, one of the highest-ranking officers in the U.S. military uses Twitter. And yes, one of those Tweets was evidence in one of the most high-profile cases of the year.
