Oracle Seeks $2 Billion From Infringement

SAP AG and its legal team at Jones Day will try to keep damages to a minimum as a federal trial starts jury selection today in a lawsuit filed by Oracle Corp. over copyright infringement.

SAP AG wants to surrender to Redwood Shores-based rival Oracle Corp. over the last remaining claim in the legal battle between the enterprise software giants to avoid pesky questions of its current and former executives.
