Law Firm's Landlords Push for Chapter 7

Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison's former landlords filed a petition Sept. 17 in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in San Francisco to push the dissolved law firm into Chapter 7 over $49 million in broken lease agreements.

"It's significant, but I'm not sure how significant," Steve Snyder, a former Brobeck Phleger partner leading the firm's liquidation committee, said of the development.
