Be Patient With Drug-Rehab Program

Letter to the Editor - In the Nov. 26, 2004, edition of the Daily Journal on the first page, there was an article concerning a UCLA study of Proposition 36. ("Report Links Drug Program to Recidivism; Defendants Return to Custody Before Others in Rehab"). Proposition 36 is a drug rehabilitation program created by referendum. The article states that Proposition 36 does no more good than any other drug program and no better than no program.
