Supervisor's Coercive Behavior Makes Employer Liable

SAN FRANCISCO - Employers may be held liable for a supervisor who successfully coerces an underling into sexual acts if the victim reasonably believes it was the only way to save her job or a promotion, a federal appeals has held.
