Judge Sides With Magazine in Clash Over Entrepreneur Name

By Joan Osterwalder Anyone can be an entrepreneur, but, according to a court ruling, not everyone can use the word. A federal judge in Los Angeles has ruled in favor of the publisher of Entrepreneur magazine in its trademark infringement case against public relations consultant Scott Smith. Based in Sacramento, Smith owns a company called EntrepreneurPR and publishes Entrepreneur Illustrated, a quarterly yearbook featuring the company's clients.
