Vail Resorts Inc., the company that purchased the Ritz-Carlton resort in Rancho Mirage in 2001, has delayed its long-held plans to renovate the desert property.
The Colorado-based company, and its subsidiary, RockResorts, which manages the Lodge in Rancho Mirage, had hoped to begin renovations this summer, but planning and working out design issues will take time, officials said.
