Regents Win $11 Million Water-Leak Settlement

BY ERON BEN-YEHUDA Special to CREJ LOS ANGELES - In one of the biggest construction defect settlements this year, the regents of the University of California recovered $11 million from contractors and an insurance company allegedly responsible for building problems at the school system's Irvine campus, the plaintiffs' attorneys in the case announced Nov. 22.
