Recycling Land to Curb Sprawl Gains Momentum

After all, the state's beautiful landscape is a source of pride for Californians, and there is obviously a strong desire to preserve it by putting a curb on the development of relatively untouched areas. Fortunately, over the years, a lot of progress has been made in preserving "green" space by recycling formerly used properties.
