Fear of court cuts worries observers

With the possibility of new cuts to courts in 2013, advocates for more court funding say the impact of budget reductions to the public's access to justice could lead to more delays in the state's legal system.

With the possibility of new cuts to courts in 2013, advocates for more court funding say the impact of budget reductions to the public's access to justice could lead to more delays in the state's legal system.


According to advocates for courts' funding, because criminal cases are prioritized, further cuts will require courts to reduce many Californians' access to civil justice.
