Paul R. Teilh, a long-serving Santa Clara County judge, dies

Santa Clara County Superior Court Judge Paul R. Teilh, who was the county's longest-serving jurist and known for his penchant for hard work, died Wednesday, according to the court.

Santa Clara County Superior Court Judge Paul R. Teilh, who was the county's longest-serving jurist and known for his penchant for hard work, died Wednesday, according to the court.

Teilh passed the State Bar exam in 1955 and was elected a Santa Clara municipal court judge in 1966, later becoming a superior court judge in 1980. He retired from the bench in 1986, but remained an assigned judge with the court until 2010.
