ABA Rates Brown 'Qualified'
WASHINGTON - The American Bar Association on Tuesday released a "qualified" rating for California Supreme Court Justice Janice Rogers Brown, a nominee for the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia.
The rating means that a majority of the ABA's 15-member Standing Committee on the Federal Judiciary felt that Brown's professional qualifications satisfied the association's evaluation standards.
