Firm Needn't Disprove Water Contamination

SAN BERNARDINO - Lockheed Martin Corp., the defendant in an upcoming trial of a lawsuit claiming it contaminated groundwater near Redlands, shouldn't be assigned the burden of disproving the plaintiffs' estimates of levels of contamination in the water table, a state appellate court has ruled.
