Jurists Who Will Judge Saddam Must Be Selected With Care
The capture of Saddam Hussein in December has presented a serious challenge for the postwar Iraqi legal system. Plans have been under way for several months for an Iraqi prosecution and trial of Saddam, and possibly other former regime officials, in an Iraqi forum.
