Justices Strike Sentence of Drug Defendant

RIVERSIDE - A state appellate court has struck a drug defendant's sentence, saying the judge in the case engaged in "illegal plea bargaining" by inappropriately pointing to Riverside County's crowded courts as the reason for offering a lower term to keep the case from going to trial.
