Two companies plead guilty to fixing prices of rechargeable batteries

LG Chem Ltd. and Sanyo Electric Co. Ltd pled guilty Thursday to criminal charges filed in San Francisco admitting they were part of a conspiracy to fix prices of rechargeable batteries used in notebook computers.

LG Chem Ltd. and Sanyo Electric Co. Ltd pled guilty Thursday to criminal charges filed in San Francisco admitting they were part of a conspiracy to fix prices of rechargeable batteries used in notebook computers from 2007 to 2008.
