Oracle agrees to pay $200 million to settle false claims case

Redwood City-based Oracle Corp. and its subsidiary Oracle America Inc. agreed Thursday to pay $200 million to settle allegations that it overcharged the government.

WASHINGTON - Oracle Corp. and its subsidiary Oracle America Inc. agreed to pay $200 million to settle allegations that it overcharged the government for software licenses and technical support, the U.S. Justice Department announced Thursday.
