Court: Attorney's Rights Weren't Violated in Meth Sting

Police did not violate a Merced attorney's rights when they arrested him in connection with a methamphetamine sting, a federal appellate court found.

Officers did not violate a Merced attorney's rights when they searched his office and arrested him on suspicion of smuggling methamphetamine into jail for a client, a 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals panel held Thursday.
