L.A. Suit Calls Deutsche Bank a "Slumlord"

The Los Angeles City Attorney has sued the financial instution for hundreds of millions of dollars over dilapidated properties left in the wake of the mortgage meltdown.

LOS ANGELES - In what appears to be a novel approach to holding big banks accountable for the foreclosure crisis, the Los Angeles city attorney sued Deutsche Bank, leveling sweeping allegations that it allowed hundreds of foreclosed properties to fall into slum conditions and illegally evicted tenants.
