Judge Denies Dismissal of Toyota Case

A judge gave plaintiffs the green light in a class action against Toyota by drivers who say the value of their vehicles plummeted in the wake of an unintended acceleration scandal.

A federal judge in Santa Ana cleared the way Friday for plaintiffs to seek economic damages on behalf of a vast new class of Toyota drivers who claim their cars' value has declined in the wake of the unintended acceleration scandal.
