Courts Need to Stay Clear of Family Religious Entanglements

Camp - Trial courts are vested with broad judicial discretion to fashion orders that are in the best interests of children in matters of child-custody and visitation litigation. However, nowhere in recent years has that broad discretion taken such a beating as it has in the area of First Amendment protection of a parent's right to religious expression in the upbringing of his or her child.
