Woman's Quest for Paintings Can Proceed

LOS ANGELES - An 87-year-old woman's quest to recover six Gustav Klimt paintings, which she claims were stolen from her family by the Nazis and then transferred to the Austrian government, can proceed in Los Angeles, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Thursday.
