Lawyer Previews His High-Court Cases

WASHINGTON - Seth P. Waxman has had some remarkable experiences at the Supreme Court arguing 37 cases in the last decade. In December 1997, for example, he argued two cases back-to-back as U.S. solicitor general - first as the respondent, then as the petitioner. As a result, he never left the podium after the first case ended and before the second argument began.
