Will Amendments Work For 'Sue Your Boss Law'?

Gray Davis signed a bill into law codified as state Labor Code Section 2699, sometimes known as the "Sue Your Boss Law." Last week, the Legislature and Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, as part of the compromise permitting passage of the much-delayed state budget, passed and signed SB1809, which significantly amended Section 2699.
