O.C. Deputies Pursue Fees From County

After four years of legal wrangling, Orange County deputy sheriffs have cemented their right to a generous pension that county officials had sued to revoke.

After four years of legal wrangling, Orange County deputy sheriffs cemented their right to a generous pension that county officials sued to revoke.


Now the deputies will launch a new legal battle to make the cash-strapped county pay $2 million or more in fees for their attorneys at Morrison & Foerster LLP and Manatt, Phelps & Phillips LLP.
