Immigration Law Injunction Upheld

Signaling the likely judicial rejection of Arizona's divisive immigration law, a 9th Circuit panel on Monday said its most controversial parts cannot be enforced while litigation over its constitutionality proceeds.

Signaling the likely judicial rejection of Arizona's divisive immigration law, a 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals panel on Monday said its most controversial parts cannot be enforced while litigation over its constitutionality proceeds.


At issue was the U.S. Constitution's Supremacy Clause and its effect on the Arizona law.
