Injured Inmate's Lawyer Alleges Witness Tampering

A state doctor who was set to testify as early as this summer in a federal lawsuit highlighting deficiencies in California's prison health care system has backed out of the case after objections from prison officials.

LOS ANGELES - A state doctor who was set to testify as early as this summer in a federal lawsuit highlighting deficiencies in California's prison health care system has backed out of the case after objections from prison officials.
