Chief Justice Opens the File On Nominees

SAN FRANCISCO - Continuing his effort to open up the judicial branch to public scrutiny, Chief Justice Ronald M. George announced Tuesday that the state Commission on Judicial Appointments will now make more information available about Supreme Court and Court of Appeal nominees in advance of their confirmation hearings.
