Budget Plan Denies Judges a Pay Increase

SACRAMENTO - The judiciary would get 12 new appeal court judges and 20 new trial court jurists, and $19.1 million to fix year-2000 computer problems, under a revised state budget submitted to the Legislature by Gov. Gray Davis.
