Policyholder wins $8 million verdict against insurer
A Los Angeles Superior Court jury on Friday awarded a World War II veteran $8 million in a lawsuit against his insurance company, which allegedly hindered him from collecting on his homeowner policy after a commercial truck crashed into his home, causing a fire.
