Bush Taps Clement for Solicitor General Post
WASHINGTON - Acting Solicitor General Paul D. Clement should soon be able to drop his temporary job title. President Bush on Friday nominated Clement to be the nation's 43rd solicitor general, replacing Theodore B. Olson, who retired in July to return to private practice at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.
