Lawyers Urge Court to Uphold State Ethics Rules for Arbitrators

SAN FRANCISCO - Attorneys arguing in favor of California's tough new ethical rules for arbitrators fought an uphill battle Tuesday trying to convince the state Supreme Court to ignore five federal and state appellate courts that have found the rules are pre-empted by federal laws.
