It Gets Tricky
Challenging a fee award just got a little trickier.

So the client is on the wrong end of a judgment. And at the very end of the judgment, the court says the other side "shall recover...attorney fees and costs of suit." The judgment is entered and notice of entry is served. Counsel timely files the notice of appeal, stating that appellant also challenges the fee award.
