Volunteer Lawyers Give Beyond Holiday Season

Giving is popular this time of year, but the Inland Empire Latino Lawyers Association took the seasonal opportunity to recognize volunteer lawyers for their generous spirit year-round at its annual fundraising auction on Dec. 9 at the Riverside County Law Library. A silent auction featuring baseball tickets, spa treatments, and gift baskets raised $12,319, with figures still rolling in. These funds will allow the Association to keep hosting free legal clinics in Riverside, Colton and Ontario for the underserved residents of Riverside and San Bernardino counties. Lawyers from all over the southland give hundreds of hours of their time each year to the Association's efforts.
