Forum Column - By Miranda D. Junowicz - Public condemnation of the statements of individual judges or justices ought to be rare. In line with the judicial immunity afforded bench decisions (particularly, decisions of our life-tenured federal judges) is a complementary immunity from personal criticism for outlandish statements - even though outcry quickly would follow if a politician or community leader dared to utter such words.
