Jurist Approves Settlement for Users of DSL

SAN DIEGO - A San Diego Superior Court judge has approved a tentative settlement worth $52 million in cash and services for subscribers of Pacific Bell's DSL over claims that the company's high-speed Internet service was slower than promised, suffered frequent interruptions and was vulnerable to hackers, a lawyer said Monday.
