The state Supreme Court has refused to hear an appeal brought by a group of retired judges and their heirs who claim they were collectively shortchanged $100 million in pension benefits.
The denial effectively ends the lawsuit brought by the roughly 80 judges and their heirs, who claimed the judges' retirement system underpaid them as far back as 35 years ago. The amount of money they individually sought ranged from hundreds...
