Death Sentence Raises Jury Issue

RIVERSIDE - A Riverside jury's decision to sentence a cop killer to death despite arguments by his lawyer that he is retarded raises appellate issues about the trial judge's decision to let the same jury that decided the defendant's guilt make a determination about his mental stability.
