Mr. Fix-It Man

Forum Column - By James Acret - In the session that concluded last September, the Legislature showed a striking enthusiasm for new laws. Of the more than 5,000 bills that were introduced, more than 1,000 passed both houses of the Legislature and were signed by the governor. Unfortunately, however, the quality of this flood of legislation was much less impressive than its quantity. This is especially true regarding bills affecting the construction industry.
