Council Launches State Tax Watch
WASHINGTON - As states struggle with their worst budget deficits in 60 years and look for new revenue sources, the National Multi Housing Council said it will start monitoring 30 states for legislative tax initiatives that could affect the apartment industry. The issue will be a key topic at the council's annual meeting this week in Palm Springs.
