Counsel for Disabled Can Seek Fees

LOS ANGELES - Lawyers for a developmentally disabled group that sued the state Department of Developmental Services over the release of disabled people from state-run centers into community care facilities can pursue attorney fees because the case ended in a settlement agreement, a federal appeals court ruled Wednesday.
