Family Law Judge Says He Prefers Mediation to Litigation
SACRAMENTO - One day family law Judge Peter J. McBrien was faced with a choice: He could hear two domestic violence cases involving requests for restraining orders and finish up in an hour, or he could try out some of his newly acquired mediation skills.
