Judge Tosses Writers' Employment Class Action

LOS ANGELES - Aging writers who claim they can't get work in Hollywood can't get their lawsuit to trial, either. The writers' class action, which claimed Hollywood agencies, studios and networks denied them work because they were old, was thrown out on a demurrer motion Thursday, although the judge ruled they could refile their action later.
